Personal and non-commercial publishing does not need it.

Do you need this licence?
A Commercial Publishing licence is required when BGeometrics charts, metric values or derived analytics
are published or distributed to third parties as part of a commercial product or service.

It does not matter whether your client pays specifically for the chart or for the service as a whole:
if our data reaches third parties as part of something you charge for, the licence applies. These lists
are examples, not an exhaustive catalogue — if you are unsure where your use case falls, just ask at
info@bgeometrics.com.
What the add-on allows
Once the licence applies to you, this is the scope of what you can do commercially with our data:
You may
- Publish charts based on our metrics.
- Publish current metric values.
- Publish percentile positions.
- Sell subscription-based PDF reports containing your own analysis.
You may not
- Resell or redistribute the underlying data.
- Provide API access to third parties.
- Create a competing data service based on the BGeometrics API.
In short: you can publish and monetise what you conclude from the data. You cannot resell
the data itself. If your use case involves serving raw data or API access to your own users,
that is Professional territory, not this add-on.
How to add it
- Go to your profile and choose the plan you want (Advanced, Premium or Premium+).
- Choose how you want to pay — Card (USD), Lightning or on-chain BTC.
- Tick Add Commercial Publishing Add-on. The displayed price updates to include it.
- Complete the checkout or pay the invoice. With card, the add-on shows as a separate line; with Lightning/on-chain it is added to the total amount.
Good to know
- Business already includes it. If you are on the Business plan you have these publishing rights at no extra cost — the add-on is not offered or charged.
- It is an add-on, not a plan. It requires an active paid subscription and is billed on the same period (monthly or annual) as that subscription.
- Already have a plan? The add-on can only be added at checkout, not applied to an existing subscription. If you already pay for Advanced, Premium or Premium+, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and subscribe again ticking Add Commercial Publishing Add-on to activate it.
- Available with any payment method. With card it is billed as a second line on your Stripe subscription; with Lightning or on-chain it is simply added to the invoice total.
- Please credit BGeometrics as the data source when you publish charts or metric values.
- If you cancel your subscription, the publishing rights end with it. Re-subscribing with the add-on ticked restores them.
